About Us

Founded in 2021 to celebrate the 50th Year of Thomas’s London Day Schools, Thomas’s Alumni is an independent organisation which keeps past pupils, parents and staff, affectionately and collectively known as OTs (Old Thomasonians) in touch with each other and with the school through events, reunions and OT communications. The association provides a network for people who have been involved in a Thomas’s education so that they can reconnect with each other and with their particular school. We hope that by being a member of Thomas’s Alumni, you will be part of a family which will be of value to you as you progress through life.

By becoming an OT, we will connect you with alumni from around the world; we believe that everybody prospers when we share knowledge and experience and hope that you will all benefit socially, professionally and personally from these connections. At the same time, we hope that you will share your inspiring stories with us. We will keep you up to date with the continuing development of the schools and will offer you the opportunity to get involved and give something back to the Thomas’s community, should you wish to do so.

We look forward to seeing you again and hope you will find that, although the schools may have developed and changed considerably since you left, they remain true to the pioneering vision of Thomas’s, to their Values and to the most important school rule: Be Kind.

What better way to celebrate Thomas’s 50th anniversary milestone than by reconnecting with former pupils, parents and staff from the last five decades? Keep an eye on the Alumni website as it evolves over the next year, when we plan to organise various alumni events across the schools. We look forward to being back in touch and to hearing all about your journey since you left Thomas’s. Ben Thomas and Tobyn Thomas

1971 Day

The Schools had a wonderful time in June, travelling back to 1971 in order to celebrate 50 Years of Thomas's. There were quests, art competitions, picnics, singing, special church services, a danceathon and, of course, cake for everybody. Across the Thomas's Schools, we have over thirty past pupils who are now themselves Thomas's parents and we invited them back in to take part in the celebrations and share their own experiences with our current pupils. I wonder if you can spot any of them in our '1971 Day' video?

Revisit your old School

In due course, we look forward to welcoming you back to your old school in person and will be organising a programme of events, so that you can reminisce and relive your time there. In the meantime, why not take a virtual tour and see what has changed since you left:

Memories

Memories

We love to hear from alumni, so please email us with your news (professional and personal!).

In addition, as part of the development of Thomas’s Alumni, we would like to build up a bank of digital archives and memories. To that end:

Do you remember your first day at Thomas’s? What was school like in your day? Are there any teachers or events that you particularly recall? What are you doing now? Did your time at Thomas’s shape your future in any way? Do you have any stories or photographs (perhaps some ‘then’ and ‘now’ photos) you would be willing to share?

Giving

At Thomas’s Foundation we are driven by the belief that every child deserves an enriching education. Our mission is to take that vision beyond Thomas’s schools, into our local neighbourhoods and also into the rural communities of Nepal. We share our values with Thomas’s London Day Schools and work closely with the Thomas’s community. We deliver this vision through three core programmes: Foundation Bursaries; Community Partnerships and CAIRN.
